Learn how to use Balabrain
Balabrain is not medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. Stop if uncomfortable. Do not use while driving. Use low volume.
What is Balabrain?
Bala means power, strength in Sanskrit. Balabrain is where that strength meets your own mind — a tool for bringing your brain back into balance.
Life pulls us in a thousand directions. Stress, overthinking, restlessness, exhaustion — your nervous system is doing its best. Balabrain gives you a way to gently steer it back toward center. Two pure sine tones, one in each ear, create a subtle difference frequency that you can tune to match how you actually feel in this moment.
There are no wrong settings. No scores. No subscriptions. Just you, your headphones, and a space to recalibrate.
Follow the Feeling
Balabrain has a simple flow:
Choose
Pick an intention — Focus, Recharge, Balance, Relax, Wind Down or Sleep — and set your duration.
Begin
Start the sound. Adjust volume, ear balance, tone and difference at any time from the Adjust panel.
Listen
The session runs for your chosen duration. Pause, end early, or adjust the sound as needed.
Tip: Slow, small adjustments work best. There are no wrong settings — only what works for you.
Adjust Panel
During a session, tap Adjust to open the sound controls.Tone adjusts the base pitch (Deeper → Brighter).Difference controls the frequency gap between ears (Subtle → Strong).Volume scales both ears proportionally.Ear balance adjusts the relative level of each ear (Left → Centre → Right).
Sound Movement
An optional spatial effect that gently rocks the volume between your left and right ear over time. Choose Still, Gentle or Flowing. It creates a subtle sense of motion — like sound is breathing around you.
Movement is available under Advanced in the Adjust panel. Choose Still, Gentle or Flowing. This changes how the sound moves between the ears without changing the selected Tone or Difference.

Saving Your Settings
Found a combination that works? Open Saved sounds in the header to save your current Tone, Difference, Volume and Ear balance. Each save is automatically numbered (Part #1, #2, etc.) so you can build a library of what works for you.
Saved toneprints appear in the dialog — tap one to load it, or delete ones you no longer need.
About the Difference
The Difference controls the frequency gap between your two ears. At 0 Hz both ears hear the same pitch. As you increase it, the left ear rises slightly, creating a difference frequency of 1–20 Hz.
That small gap is what most people feel. Different values may feel calmer, sharper, softer, or more expansive. There is no universal right answer — only what is right for you, right now.
